P.S. Judge Judy's comment that there is no law for people living together is not correct in Ontario.

Actually not really true in much of the U.S. either (if by that she means you can kick your live-together to the street without legal pause - she is correct if she refers to statutory law), although it is a grayer area with lots of room for argument.
