I recently saw a re-broadcast of the Jonestown documentary on CNN. I can't help but think that there are many similarities to Islamic State.

For once I feel confident speaking for everyone on this board when I say: wish there were just one more very specific similarity.

It might happen, but unfortunately a lot of innocent people will die before that "happy ending".

I saw quite a few comments in the "Tricked" thread that seems to also apply to people attracted to cults.

This might be a crazy idea but maybe we should let ISIS have northeast Syria as their "Islamic State". That way all the terrorists could congregate in one place so we know where they all live. If they splinter and scatter to the 4 corners of the world it will be difficult if not impossible to track them all down.
