The officers were looking for John or prostitutes’ clients in the Montreal Road and Lafontaine Avenue area on Wednesday and Thursday. The investigation stemmed from community and business concerns about ongoing prostitution and men soliciting for that purpose in residential neighbourhoods.

Quite a known streetwalker stroll and has been for years. Some of the "ladies" there were so hideous (I used to live not far from LaFontaine) I wonder who pays them $40 for anything. There was one that literally looked like her face had been burnt off but she got picked up all the time.

They do a sweep every six months responding to neighbourhood complaints and then leave it until complaints build again. Won't stop anything or anyone.

Wait until the Salvation Army opens.

I found myself driving down Montreal road the other day and I was surprised that street prostitution seemed to still be a thing. It looked like a few worn out girls that life hasn’t been good to. Very sad to see.
