John Hughes passes away....

John Hughes, the beloved writer and director of 1980s teen classics like `The Breakfast Club` and `Ferris Bueller`s Day Off,` died today in New York City of a sudden heart attack. He was just 59.

He sure did. I liked his piece, "Sexual Harassment: How to Do It", along with the stories "My Penis" and "My Vagina".

That's too bad. I liked a lot of his movies.

I got dragged into the theatre to see The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles by my girlfriend and ended up thinking P in P was ok and really liking Breakfast Club.
My girlfriend said 'it's about six teens in detention', I said 'who plays me?' There was the first reality show. Sitting in detention bored to tears having to write an essay.

I was very sad to hear of his passing today.I loved his movie"Some kind of wonderful" with Eric Stoltz,Lea Thompson, and Mary Stuart Masterson.One of my favs of all time.Pretty well all of his movies are cult classics(The cult being anyone who grew up in the 80's and had their heart broken).John Bender(Judd Nelson-Breakfast club) will always be a classic character to me.
