Didn't want the day to pass with this unmentioned. I remember his granny being interviewed on Vancouver TV back in the early 80's from her nursing home on her birthday. She mentioned he used to come up to Vancouver a lot. She came to Canada in 1911 or somewhere around then. His dad was born in Vancouver. I heard it mentioned on the radio today. She used to live in the Strathcona district. By China Town.
