I disagree. I have been a Tammy Faye fan since I was a kid (not because of religious stuff as I am Jewish lol, more because shes just so ICONIC). I have been waiting for a very long time for a Tammy Faye film and Jessica absolutely killed that role.

However, I thought Andrew Garfield was a very lack-luster Jim Bakker. He was definitly more focused on Spiderman and Tick Tick BOOM than The Eyes of Tammy Faye.

Mena Mahan you may be right, I know more about the Hollywood Ponzi Scheme than about Tammy Faye. Michael Cera was called Player X, to avoid lawsuits he couldn't play Tobey Maguire directly. As for Andrew Garfield, his role was to be a table setter, the film wasn't about Jim Bakker. That will get him copious amounts of goodwill for future projects - look at how well it worked for Emma Stone after she table set The Help.
