To be clear, neither Bezos nor Branson made it into outer space, if they had their ships would have to have gone through the Kármán Line requiring a re-entry burn on the way back which is a whole other level of accomplishment neither has attained.

Jeff Bezos made the single-largest charitable contribution in 2020 by donating $10 billion to launch the Bezos Earth Fund. Bezos, who stepped down as Amazon CEO to devote more time to philanthropy and other projects, also contributed $100 million to Feeding America, the organization that supplies more than 200 food banks.

Jeff is self made...he gets my respect all the time...
It's not that I hate the rich... its he treats his employees like garbage. Big difference.
amazon made my life easier...if not for amazon, employees could be doing something else, but they chose to work for amazon...i'm sure people can choose to walk away if they're treated badly...

If it's such a horrible place to work and employees are treated "like garbage" why did 94% of fulfillment center employees Amazon surveyed recommend the company as a place to work?

By all accounts Amazon (which is Bezos) is a place that believes its ok to use and abuse people.
There have been multiple articles about how badly Amazon treats its people. From those keeling over from dehydration and heat exhaustion working in the warehouses, to those in the highest positions. On top of that, they don't pay taxes and they are the destroyer of cities and towns.
Amazon is my retailer of last resort. If I can't find it locally, and I can't find it anywhere else, I will resort to Amazon. I am proud to say I haven't purchased anything from Amazon in almost a year.
