Maybe if American Muslim groups were more visible and vocal against those atrocities non-Muslims would be more accepting.

There is a group (presumably Muslims) on Twitter who are saying that kidnappings, murders, beheadings, theft, rapes, selling women, burying daughters, throwing acid in schoolgirls' faces and so on is not Islam.

There is another group (presumably Muslims) who are tweeting about the positive contributions by Muslims. For example, did you know that Muslims invented algebra centuries ago?

If people actually did what their religion teaches them. The world would be a beautiful peaceful place. Unfortunately evey religion always has that moralistic asshole that suffers from Moral Panic and perverses the true teaching of his or her religion and it happens in all religions.

Doubt it. As they say, haters hate. All that foreign actions do is make them more comfortable being vocal about it.
