Another stupid, fucking idiot post by Tesla. :frusty:

Back in the 80s the U.S. government funded and armed Afghans, the Taliban, apparently the same guys that they fought 17 years later.
Then of course, Saddam Hussein and Rumsfeld were buddies. Helped Saddam get chemical weapons.

Amazing how America likes to stick its nose all over the world.

So who's the idiot here really? Me? Or people who believe that America is really a good guy in world affairs?

False. The mujahedeen split into factions after the Russians left, and one small faction grew into the Taliban. The US continued to support other factions after that split. To say that they are the same guys is just lying.

No, the mainstream media is under IMMENSE threat and this is exactly why the TPP deal came to be.
More control by the corporations via the government.

Not so farfetched.

The seeds of ISIS was the disbanding of the Iraqi Army, throwing 300,000 mostly Sunni servicemen on the street.... with their weapons, including highly competent senior officers, while being discriminated by the Shiite Iraqi government.

Then, a few years after the 2003 invasion, General Petraeus funded and armed Sunni tribal militias in order to fight against Shiite militias, seen under the control of Iran. There were huge sums of money distributed, that were never accounted for.

Then, Saudi Arabia funded what was to become ISIS in order to overthrow Assad of Syria, with the help of Qatar. One reason was that Assad didn't play ball and didn't allow a gas pipeline going through his country from Qatar to Turkey. The other reason was that Assad is allied to Shiite Iran, and Iran (thanks to the US destroying the Iraqi state) has become a regional power and threatening Saudi Sunni/Salafist influence.

What does the CIA have to do with that? Their massive multi billion dollar surveillance apparatus could not have been unaware of the huge sums of Saudi money being transferred to Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, the Iraqi-Sunni terrorist they hired to overthrow Assad. Then there was blowback against US interests in Iraq, and against Saudi Arabia itself, as Abu-Bakr stated that there was no room for a king (King Salman) within a Kaliphate, and that Saudi-Arabia was next. Plus, the CIA facilitated transfer through covert means of weapons and Jihadists from Libya to Syria after the fall of Ghadaffi

The US has really been bombing ISIS half heartedly... they have merely been containing them from the Kurds, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, while destroying the Syrian infrastrucure, just like they did in Iraq in 2003. They have let ISIS make inroads into Iraq (took over half the country) and against Assad, even during the time when Syrian forces had been besieged for over a month in Palmyra by ISIS, that they eventually lost.

The Israelis are sharing intelligence and cooperating with Al-Qaida affiliate Jabhat Al-Nusra because they are fighting Assad from the Western side of Syria and also threatening Lebanon/Hezbollah. They have also been reported to have bombed Syrian targets in order to help Al-Nusra terrorists out of a jam. They also bombed and killed the Iranian general who was an advisor in Syria, based on Al-Nusra supplied intelligence. Druze rioters on the Golan Heights recently stopped and torched an IDF ambulance because it was carrying wounded Al-Nusra terrorists.

It really boils down to the fact that the US isn't really concerned that Isamic fanatics will take over Syria after Assad falls (there is really nobody else, the FSA now being irrelevant), but what influence they will have on them (carrot or the stick.... plus Saudi appeasement money).

Now, the US is furious at Iraq for having set up a joint Iraqi-Iranian-Syrian-Russian intelligence sharing and coordination centre in Baghdad, led by Russian officers using Russian Command-Control-Communications-Surveillance sytems. That led to Iraqi forces recently destroying an ISIL convoy containing high value assets.

US corporate interests control US politics by way of unlimited campaign funds they can contribute to political campaigns (since Clinton). The US media has been consolidated to a few major news organizations controlled by top transnational corporations after laws against media concentration were abolished under Clinton in 1986; there were over 40 media sources then, actively competing. Watergate and the Iran Contra scandal were the culmination of investigative reporting and will never happen again. Nowadays, scandals are revealed by whisleblowers, but they are either discredited by the mainstream media, or ignored altogether.

Investigative reporting is now dead, as US media only reports the government line; that's because transnational corporations control the politicians, and their media control the narrative. That really took hold during the US invasion of Kuwait with embedded reporting: journalists becoming part of combat teams, and you don't sh!t on your buddies. If you reported negatively, you were part of the problem.

ISIS = Israeli Secret Intelligence Service. I find it interesting that ISIS shows up a week after Russia blocks the invasion of Syria at the UN Security Council. After we made a mess of Somalia, Afghanistan, Irag, Libya and now Syria, Russia stands up and say's hey US, NATO, come join Russia and we'll take care of ISIS. And what response does Russia get ? Crickets. Do some homework and look up " The Project for A greater Israel ".

Tesla. Hang in there. The one's that shout the loudest are trolls.

It's amazing that people seem to believe Israel and Isis are one and the same. Considering Isis would gladly wipe Israel off the map to achieve it's goal of an Islamic state in the levant. Isis came to be in 1999 and has evolved over the years to what it is now.

Big Sleaz', funny enough, today over lunch, someone brought up Russia and Syria and then mentioned exactly what you just said in regards to Russia's response against ISIS.
As my friend put it "a big ol' fuck load of silence". LOL

America and Israel can't say shit to Russia now, afterall, they're apparently fighting terrorists. So Russia should look like the good guy, helping America fight terror.
But, now they'll probably yap more about Russia in Europe in the mainstream media.

"Those pesky Russians, pay no attention to them fighting our sworn enemies ISIS, look over here in Europe." lol
