I cannot get it with a option to search. Instead I get a trending page of what is popular on youtube
What should I put in the url? I key in "youtube"
Perhaps you had logged in with an account before and now you've logged out for whatever reason.
Are you searching for YouTube videos on google or on the actual YouTube site itself?
Considering how tech illiterate a lot of this board's members are, he's probably searching on Google.
I just checked and the search field was at the top of the page.
YouTube premium to me has been more worth it than Spotify / Netflix imo

Which extension ? I was using Adblock for Youtube on Brave and it stopped working after the last Youtube change (about 3 months ago ?)
A lot of Youtube videos have become practically unwatchable because of the ads. Any video that is monetized has ads about every three minutes now..
I noticed over time some video do disappear for what ever reason.

Recent discovery, if you use a Mac and open YouTube with Safari you can't find a setting for 4K viewing. It tops out at 1080. If you use Google Chrome for YouTube you can select 4K viewing option in the video.

I downloaded through the Google play store for my tablet. Not sure if it required extensions but never downloaded them. Flawless use and no ads.
