Just curious. A while back I used to have a female doctor. Of course it was all professional but on occasion, I fantasized that she'd give me a little more on the physical examinations.

I moved and subsequently changed to a male doctor in my neighbourhood. Yes he probably knows the male anatomy better, but it's certainly not as fun as my previous doctor when checking for testicular cancer.

Think I will switch doctors.

I've had both, female and male family docs and frankly, I much prefer my current (last 15 - 20 yrs) female doc. I find her to be much more ready to listen to my problem, more compassionate, more attentive and even more understanding.

As for stories, I've got a pretty decent one: this one time during a visit for abdominal pains she had asked for me to remove my shirt so she could check out the situation. Well I was lying on my back on the exam table and she was checking out my chest and stomach area. Well she had to go lower, and I still had my jeans on so she reaches down and starts undoing my pants lol. I've had female doctors in the past, and the clinic that I use has just brought in a female so I assume my next physical (with prostate now that I'm of that age) will be with her.
