Came across this and it had me thinking because most people 25 and under think like this.
In the past I'd call young people like him lazy, but now the system doesn't even work. I can't even blame him.

First the new gen is very lazy overall but guys like this are not - they might be learning to be grifters but there no lazy.
You be an idiot not to do social media - Ariana Grande started year young on social media , big names in only the new media gained their skills in there teens - rather than doing paper routes there learning to edit, write, market, invest etc.
99% of them plus fail but there is no cost to entry, you can learn by doing it part time, and the skills you learn are transferable to any future job in the info economy.
Further is a youth oriented market, like modeling and sex work youth is a huge advantage . .
Even Haley Welch which ended in disaster and bumped in wealth accidentally worked hard to maximize her wealth from her 10 seconds of fame - too much so - if she worked less could have retired rich rather than maybe homeless and jailed.
Any serious social media site can make equal to minimum wage at a fast food place, with about the same work except your your own boss.
Sex workers are basically in this new economy as well with twitter etc.
I would put social media in the early days of professional sports where you just had to be good to make money not amazing. Each year the bar gets higher and higher, and the profits less and less for the semi-talented and eventually it be as hard as Hollywood to do well. But that is at least 5 years away. I have seen per-influncers in the course of a few years go from me and dozen fans end up being interview on television for there expertise on a regular basis . . .
Sure basically a few are pure luck (like the crazy gf meme) but with talent and representation you can do well quickly compared to main stream media.
If your lazy your more than likely fail, but unlike Burger King, you talent and effort can actually lead to substantive success if your under 20 ... after 20 its too late for most.
