Maybe it is real. We need more info, such as, where, when, any news reports.

But this must be a western tourist, going into a safari (or somewhere similar) where there are real lions in their natural habitat (ie, not a TV show) and taking pictures. What does he expect? Who would go up so close to a lion and not expect to be eaten?

Looks staged to me. See,the pan shots to the horified tourist in the other car. So you mean the camera man gets all artistic during the surprise filming.

I hope know one is lion about it being a staged shot. If it was a staged shot they cheetahed us.

Looks like an unsettled question. No-one has been able to convincingly say it was a fake, but there are some things that make it likely a fake:

-- The fast edits. Most "real life" videos do not include any edits, and edits can be used to conceal fakery.

-- Panning across the bystanders. Wouldn't the cameraman have kept the camera on the attack?

This is a clip from and old thing was call 7 faces of death, the begining of the video is not there, and it is real.
