Is there something wrong with Chat?

I just tried to log into chat and a bunch of garbled stuff comes up on my screen and the main window says that Either you do not have a valid login or your account has been suspended. If you do not currently have a handle please sign up here.

Anyone else having this problem?

Rumors has it..

that ER Chat is not taking on new members. With my favorite SP trying to get on unsuccessfully, it added to my list of daily frustrations..

So I wrote (PM) Fred Zed since one of the mod's (who shall remain nameless) told me to do so. Guess what, no answer.. Fred must be on vacation or SP hunting..

I'll be patient. Meantime, I can't chat with my SP and it is expensive to see her all the time!!!
