this bloody company that keeps sending me spam ?

I block the address every email i get (up to 4 a day from them alone) but what they do is change their name by putting a period or comma in so it seems like a new address to the computer.
Not quite sure why but ITS DRIVING ME BATTY!

They have a good spam blocker

You can try to upograde your firewall to include a decant spam blocker.

Not sure whos is the best. I have not used an ISP mail sever for many years

I feel your pain. I have to weed through at least 150+ spam e-mails daily just to find the legitimate press releases sent to us. Filters are useless for me as they block out PR's with attachments.

Went so far as to send everyone a special e-mail addy but to no avail. They never use it. The press agents prefer to hit the 'send news' button as opposed to typing in an addy. #$%@!!!

I use McAfee spam killer and you can block by:
country
all users at domain
emails sent to my by me (they can do that)
anything in the message body
anything in the message header
to
from

and they still get through.....so I feel your pain Miranda

If you're currently blocking by name, you probably have some kind of filtering rules available in your e-mail client. Instead of testing the name, try testing for some key word or sequence of words in the subject or body of the e-mail. When you get a match, you should be able to block, delete, or sort into a "junk mail" folder.

I am blocking by "any email ending in ........" which is the @ wherever.com
They always have different subjects...its like a 3rd party marketing site
