I do not know if I understand the rules for 6/49. Am I right to think that If I buy one 6/49 I get a chance at two prizes. but if I buy three tickets on the same ticket I get only one chance at the bonus draw?
Is there an advantage to buying 6/49 tickets individually?

By buying multiple separate 6/49 tickets you are getting different guaranteed number entries which does increase your odds. For example if you buy 2 lines on 1 ticket your guaranteed numbers could be 10000001-01 and 10000001-02. But if you buy separate tickets you would have guaranteed numbers like 10000001-01 and 20000001-01.
Another thing to note is the maximum jackpot amount for Goldball is 68 million. So if it ever gets to 68 million then 1 ticket in Canada is guaranteed/mandatory to win 68 million dollars.

What the Canadian lottery corporations state in the rules is that for each 6/49 draw it is determined by a ball draw if the top winning prize for that draw is either 1 million or the Goldball jackpot amount. In the ball draw there are multiple 1 million dollar balls but only 1 Goldball. So if a 1 million dollar ball is chosen then that is the prize for that draw. And then there is 1 less 1 million dollar ball for the next draw, thus a better chance at drawing the Goldball. This pattern keeps going until the Goldball is drawn and won. And when that happens the ball draw gets reset and the Goldball prize will be the 10 million dollar minimum. And the pattern repeats and the Goldball amount increases every draw until it is won again.

I won $1,000 a few years ago but I'm pretty sure I've given it all back by now.
I have been playing online poker for the last 3-4 years, hold em tournament's only and have cashed in about $3000. Playing sites from many countries, however, in 2022, our asshole premier decided that gambling sites that offer poker had to get a special license to operate in Ontario meaning that you must be a proven resident of Ont. to play these sites. At this time there are only 6 sites that are available for Ont. residents to play. The top one is Poker Stars and it is the largest one by far, but their selections of tournaments are limited to the fewer number of players that are allowed to play as you must be an Ont. resident to qualify. The others, 888 poker, party poker,wsop GG poker, don't get enough players to play. Bottom line, Online poker in Ont. SUCKS. Vote Bonnie Crombie for premier.

A few things to consider. A new premier doesn't mean that online poker in Ontario is suddenly going to be better. The licences aren't going anywhere and the geoblocking will always stay in place because of how the AGCO regulates gambling.
Also, a licensed operation will not be using any shady practices. Your money in your wallets is more secure than a third-party site.
FYI it wasn't the ford govt that decided to geoblock in 2022. It's been that way (without giving much of my past work history away) including under wynne's liberal govt. It took decades of convincing the ontario govt and the agco to open up the market slightly. They only did so eventually because the US was quickly legalizing and that meant significant loss in cross border revenue.
Your first point regarding voting for Crombie was just a joke of mine. I just can't stand Ford. Secondly, I have played a fair number of poker sites for 5 years or more and before I joined a poker site I reviewed them to find out their reputations for paying players that won money. Over the years I have collected $3,000. while depositing about $500. I am very selective on the sites I join and play only NL holdem tournaments with buy in of $10. or less. The problem since 2022 is the small number of sites that Ontario residents are allowed to play. Prior to Ford's new law as opposed to over 25 sites that were available to us that consisted of higher number of players meaning larger winnings. By the way i have other reasons to criticize Ford, mainly as a senior, our health care coverage as more private clinics are opening and many not accepting ohip patients.
The issue is actually federal. Ontario has to geolock because the AGCO can only regulate operations in Ontario. We do not have a federal gambling regulator that might allows all Canadian players to play on a single site.
That was the point I was trying to communicate. It's kind of strange that we have internet gaming yet it's regulated like it's a physical casino based on provincial borders.

It was Ford who initiated which sites would be allowed a license for Ontario residents to play. They total 5 to 6 sites only with most of them having a small number of players controlled by a website, gaming.ca
Because technically online poker market was not legal in Ontario until 2022. So the operators who opted to get licenced then had to comply with the geolocation rules. However the plan to open up internet gaming in Ontario had been in the works since 2012. It just takes a very long time for the regulators and the OLG to transition their operations from what was literally built in the 90s and make themselves current in order to compete.
