Is paying for women on dates considered offensive these days?

Haven't dated in 15+ years. Men used to pay. If I go on a date now and pay for dinner etc is it considered offensive to women? Might depend on age. I'm targeting 25-45. Maybe wealthy 40yo might mind?

No not at all. The only difference is now women won't be offended if you say that for this first date, we pay each our bill.

if it's a concern and you feel rusty, excuse yourself and go and pay secretly. No woman will be upset when presented with the fact that the cheque has been taken care of.

not even a BJ ? :(

if you payed for dinner, I would definitely go down on you as a common courtesy :)

what's the big deal?
This is why I skip the dinner, have the fun and take the cash. LOL.

I've always paid for dinner unless she suggests splitting it. And I don't expect anything in return for the first date like some clowns who take someone out on some expensive first date and expect something. Cringy and needy lol. If you want that then set it up with a SP or SB.

Some people find it offensive to pay for dates . I like men who are naturally providers in this industry or outside of this industry .
It is just common sense. A real gentleman knows how to take care of a woman !

While buying me a drink is probably cheaper for you, I will always take the cash. 💰 LOL.
it wouldn't be cheaper for me, it would be exactly the same :)

such a material girl

I guess it's safe to assume that you wouldn't be offended if OP paid for you on a date

Be 50/50 until you know the deal.

If I go on a date, which I will never do again, I would pay my own way every time. I wouldn’t be offended by the offer but I would insist on paying my own meal so I don’t feel like I owe anything. But I am not a relationship type girl. Even casual dating. This is why I escort and basically will until I am sick of sex and men. LOL. I get all of the good parts of a relationship like sex, companionship, male attention and I get none of the bad, the drama, etc. Plus because I have the vagina, I get to pad my retirement and do things like buy a new trailer. I don’t rely on this money to put food on the table, so I can work when I want, if I want and see who I want. So just easier to avoid the hassle of dating altogether for me. I am kinda bias as you can tell. LOL

it's all good

I haven't been on a real date since I discovered TERB as well :) so I wouldn't know if nowadays women would be offended by man paying

I guess it depends on a woman

If she was a woke progressive with special pronouns a guy could be in trouble :)

I don’t care if someone gets offended. I will always err on the side of being a “gentleman” and pick up the tab.

If the ”offence” does not get me a second date, such is life.

Define "naturally" in this context.
This is the definition of a man who is a provider in a marriage context but it is not very far away from the definition of a provider in normal dating relationship.
There are relationships where they split the bills . It is not my definition of a provider relationship . But they have some providing sides in the relationship that are non financial. For me a provider man provides financial and non financial support.
