The honest truth is that nobody really knows. Once a product in demand moves underground, any attempt to measure it is corrupted.

It was successful in making it underground. So available for only those that know where to find it.

And A number of sources suggest that the law is not being enforced very strictly: very few convictions and nobody has gone to jail

I thought the article was typical biased anti-prostitution dogma towards the nordic model

No mention of Australia/newZealand/Neveda legalized model they only mention the exploitation in Spain and the Netherlands

According to the article, the problem with legalization is criminal organizations take over. So how about better laws to stop the criminals ?? The taxes from legalization are a rich source of income for enforcement so $ should be no issue

Not very a thorough discussion and no sources to back up any of their claims

They also believe stating that no women from high class income enter prostitution is a clever statement that somehow defends their POV ???? DUH ???

OK, so very few Paris Hiltons become prostitutes, so WTF is the point ????? How many Paris Hiltons work at hamburger stands or become secretaries ???

The point I think they are trying to makes that prostitution is a way for women who have no other alternatives to support themselves. A woman who has other means will not resort to sell her body for money.

That actually false, I've heard of women who had trust funds or rich parents that go into sex work so that their parents can use money to control them.

Still even if it was true, rich women don't start careers picking up trash, sewage sucking services, become construction workers, or Landscapers ether.
