Ok I'm a tech computer dummy but I've had problems recently.
When I open one of my programs I get this message

Microsoft-Run-Library
*Runtime Error
Program C/Program Files/FPM 2009/pm exe
This application has requested the Runtime to shut down in an unusual way.
Please contact the apps support team for more info

Because my program is 6 years old customer service won't help

My program is Finale Print Music 2009

Do you have the hardcopy of the program. I would back up the files that use it and try reinstalling the software. Files might have gotten corrupted over time. When did this first happen? Try rolling back the computer to when the program was working fine. Can you get updates for said program? It might not be compatible with the version of windows your running at the moment. I have a feeling, your software is incompatible with the version of windows your running now. Considering it's age. See if you can run it under the windows compatibility feature.
