My poll yesterday (Is C a moron) was mostly just a weak rant since I was in such a jolly mood yesterday. While this one is along the same vain... it's also just for a bit of fun as well. I am sure we all can think of some stories out of the past where Lastman did indeed prove himself to be a real clown. Actually though some of the stuff he has pulled though is not so funny. Like I said yesterday do we really want this joker selling Toronto. I mean come on... he goes on international TV and says he does not know who The World Health Organization is. HELLO. I am sure the world was impressed. Or how about the time he goes out of his way to stop by the Holiday Inn to shake hands with bikers then months down the road blames it on his medication for Hep C.

He's had his day

Mel was the right man for his time in North York when he declared it the "City with heart". Now he reached too far when Toronto gave him the reins, and he's overstayed his usefullness.

Torontonians have elected him 3 or 4 terms and can't get enough of him. Personally I think he's funny and witty and very popular. Who do you guys wanted for mayor, Barbara Hall or John Nunziata? C'mon!

Of COURSE Mel lastman is a clown, a fool, a buffoon, a publicity slut - and a mendacious idiot who let the lobbyists and the wheeler-dealers and fixers run our city for us, with little or no input from the people who we elected to do that job. That's the most serious strike against the foolish, befuddled, goof we were all foolish enough to elect.

We need a poll to even discuss this silly little man? Alien, who is indeed from somewhere else in our known universe, says he thinks Mel is "witty" - and asks whether anyone prefers Barbara Hall.

Alien, who is probably going to throw his vote to Tom whatever-his-name is from Scarberia - the lying little toad! - must be kidding. Or does he prefer that cable TV billionaire who has been advising Mel for the last few years?

Hall for Mayor! Out with the fools and the fixers! Less grandstanding! More work to fix this place!
