My big thing is it ruins a lot of good bar dabates. Used to be you could go for hours. Now some busy body whips out his phone and ruins it with actual facts......

It's also ruined our spelling, debates (with an e). All in jest.

I disagree. Debates can now be about more intelligent things rather than plain facts. About opinions and undiscovered things. Debating about known facts is waste of time.

That's how FAUX news, El Rushbloe, Sarah Palin, Apple fanbois, et al., make their bread & butter!....
i don't think google has, it helps getting facts in a pinch when people are arguing over something without any concrete facts. what has ruined my life is auto correct/spell check I cannot spell certain words any more just get close enough to to word and auto correct it...
Google is quite liberating. I can now learn how to replace shingles on my house,make the best bbq ribs to knowing everything there is about photography without paying somebody to teach me. Google gives you the tools to help reach your full potential but it can also make you very lazy. It is only a good powerful tool set, and is effective based on how you use it. I love it I can now do almost any trade because of it.
