Is a hard Curfew coming to Ontario ? Province wide, 6 pm to 6 am.

It has brought cases down in Quebec.

Ford will lose the next election so he might as well torch the barn
Remember the good old saying

"It's not the people that vote that count, it's the people that count the votes."

Ford has been a good puppet so far, they might keep him around.

If the variants continue to spread a province wide lockdown is on the cards

Just curious, who will you be voting for in the next Provincial election? Liberal, NDP or a TJ disciple and going Green??

Yes that’s right Ford has been a great puppet............A great puppet for the population that voted him in and those who didn’t.
Excellent for Doug Ford to listening to the demands of majority of people.

I'm sure that you didn't vote for him. The fact that people like you are happy with him now, just proves my point, what a sell out he is. People like me that voted for him are very disappointed.

For the OP,

I don’t think we will do a curfew here. If we were going to, it would have been during the second lockdown.

As said, doesn’t he work for the majority of the people. And if they feel he is doing right, then how is he selling out? He is doing his job correctly if that is the case. No doubt he will be re-elected. Especially based on how he handled this.

So are you pissed off you are a minority now? Is that the issue?

Noone feels he is doing the "right" thing

See pressure from Toronto & Mississauga and to a lesser extent Brampton?

Everyone keeps calling him out over stupid lockdowns, colour zones, and obvious bias in how he applies the rules

As well
Quebec is based on an entirely diff set of laws than we are which makes their curfew easier to enforce over there

First I said “IF” because neither you nor I can know for fact.

Second, it is not “EVERYONE” because neither you nor I can know that for fact. You can say in YOUR OPINION, you think the majority don’t believe he is doing the right thing.

See the difference? That is why you keep getting called out. You purposely chose words that are totally off.

What that proves is that he listened to the wants of all people as a collective first rather than those who voted for him and that’s commending.

Exactly I didn’t vote for him, but I will next election. Go Dougie

What you’re really upset about is that he listened to what the majority of people wanted and not just what his fringe, looney tune followers like yourself wanted ;).

When the inevitable 3rd wave comes, due to the variants of concern, and the cases cannot be kept below 1,000, the curfew will probably be imposed and enforced. We can't keep playing this game forever.

When you look at the competition as a Liberal party that doesn't even have official party status and Andrea Horvath...Doug Ford is a lock to win the next election.

I agree Dougie and Justin will both win majorities in either one of their elections. .

That is the problem, there simply isn't any real opposition at the provincial or federal level. Somehow they all became the same and all sing from the same hymn sheet. Not only in Canada but in US and in most of the world, that should give anybody a reason for concern.

Ford's popularity is drooping so I'm not sure what you mean by me being a minority?

Be it as it may, Ford did a horrible job so far, just ask anybody with family members in long term care.

So share with us in your opinion who we should be voting for?
Vote your conscience!

I'm sure that there will be a lot of people not voting at all when next elections come around, because there is nobody to vote for. Just because there are names on the ballots doesn't mean that there is democracy if all of them follow the same directives.
