"Iron" Mike is a joker........

Today was the press conference for the upcoming bout between Mike Tyson and Clifford Ettiene. A Mike Tyson press conference is always hilarious, and this one did'int disappoint either. Here are a few Tyson gems from the press conference.

" Not only did Lennox Lewis whip my ass, he may have baptized me"

To one reporter asking him a question " Did you have to give head to get your job?"

Hehehehehheheheheeh I know alot of people hate Mike for numerous reasons, but I like him just for his crazy sense of humor.


Even though he's a shadow of the fighter he was in the late 80's, I hope he keeps fighting, just so I can here some classic "Iron" Mike lines.

He's a big plodding heavyweight with a weak chin, who just likes to stand in the middle of the ring and trade shots. In other words, he's custom made for Mike. I say Mike KO's him in 1-3 rounds.

Yeah, he is a character, but I'm sick of Tyson. I have never been a big fan of the heavyweight division. I'm waiting for Roy Jones to quit ducking guys like Bernard Hopkins and Shane Mosley. Those should be real fights.

You obviously dont follow boxing very closely. Shane Mosley is just moving up to junior middleweight (154 lbs), Roy Jones is a light heavyweight (175 lbs). This fight will never happen, as they are not close enough in weight, thus Roy is not ducking Shane.

It's Bernard's fault that he and Roy are not fighting. Roy want's a 60/40 purse split becuase he already beat Bernard years ago. Bernard, being the difficuly bugger that he is wants a 50/50 split because they are both unified champs. Obviously its Bernard that should bit the bullet and take the 40% purse, because he's already lost to Roy, plus Roy is the biger name.

If Roy somehow manages to weasel out of fighting WBA heavyweight belt holder John Ruiz, expect him to take on #1 ranked IBF, WBC, WBA, WBO lightheavyweight contender Antonio Tarver.
