IPOD video comments

i've had the new IPOD for a month now and i'm noticing that the battery is shit. i only use if for music and it lasts me 6 hours. i was wondering if anyone else is having the same thing happen with theirs.

In my experience with both hardware and software, version 1.0 is a tough version to own.

Thank god I haven't bought one yet, has anyone bought the Nano? Have there been any improvements with the model yet?

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing with mine. 15 hours of battery life my ass

What about when you play a 2 hr movie? Does the thing last long enough to watch the entire film?

Cuz I was just looking at buying the 60 GB Ipod Video.

I have had one for about two weeks and I would say 9-12 hours is about the norm.

I have a 1st Gen iPod for about 3 years now and still get 5 hours battery life. The video iPod i got while watching a movie has had a max 4 hours with music i have gotten 11 maybe.....
