Iphone 3GS Sold Out!

The new iphone is sold out....
Was hoping to get one today....So sick of my old phone (old Samsung) and wanted to get the iphone 3GS...

Anybody hear when Toronto will be stocked up with the 3GS?

Supposedly the Apple store has some in stock but you have to set up a "Personal Shopping" appointment....
What the fuck is up with that? Like I have the time to do that....

Just needed to rant a bit....
Was really looking forward to having a new gadget to play with....

the only diff between the 3gs and 3g is camera resolution and a video recording capability. This I hear is available from a third party software already for the 3g.

In my opinion and I know no one gives a shit but..........

One place for sure will never run out is the apple store! However, I would recommend making a personal shopping appointment. Fairview Mall location is the least busy. BTW, I do indeed love my 3GS, it's much faster than it's predecessor!

I just got the new iphone 3Gs and I love the browsing and apps. However I will not give up my Blackberry which which handles email flawlessly with multiple push accounts.....plus I can type like a mad woman on it.

I didn't think that Apple stores in Canada didn't sell iPhones as they couldn't activate the phones because they have no hook into Roger's activation network? Do they just sell you the phone at Full Price or is it still Discounted?

Well in my oppinion it's alot more better then those other cheap cell phones
I had! I can go online anytime, use google maps, play games, ipod, plus many other features.

The downside is that there is no video (yet)
itunes does not work properly all the time.
goto make sure my battery is charged most of the time.

I have my hobby phone, regular cell, work Blackberry. No room on the belt for anything else. They look great though.

One would have thought that last year’s iPhone 3G launch fiasco should have forced Apple to upgrade its activation servers for iPhone 3GS launch. It seems that it didn’t happen though, as customers worldwide are reliving the same nightmare all over again.

When iPhone 3G was launched last year, iPhoneWorld.ca reported that Apple’s activation servers could not handle the load, and as such customers had to stand in lines for hours, while store clerks allowed in one person at a time. Some “lucky” customers spent more than 7 hours in line (after shops were open) trying to get their hands on an iPhone, while many other customers stood in slow lines for nothing, as stores ran out of iPhones before it was their turn to get in.

Fast forward to today, and the same situation is happening all around the globe, but mostly affecting North America — since stores are already closed in Europe and Asia now, only North American residents are the ones affected at the moment.

Yeah, but they just had to have it so every wasted minute standing in line for the latest gadget was time well spent!

I just love lemmings........
