You can download a lot quicker this way and you dont need a phone modem.

Just wait until we have "smart" appliances
ie: the "smart" refrigerator, complete with led screen and built in modem. Combined with rfid tags which will soon be on all goods, it could "know" how often you use the mayo, use that info to automatically replenisch the goods without you ever leaving the house. However, what if this info made it to the insurance companies... would your health / life insurance premiums become very expensive if you do not eat "right"?
