internet Explorer error

can anyone tell me why IE shuts down every time I try to go on to ebay.ca ?

Ebay.com works fine but everytime I try to get into ebay.ca ,
I get the " Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close"

there was an error report , but its all jibberish to me .

I was thinking it might be that my cookies were switched off .
but I used o be able to get in without a problem.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Opera Browser

Try another browser.

I'm using the Opera browser, it's free and went into ebay.ca with no problems a moment ago to test it out.

Been using Opera for years and IMHO think it's better than IE.

I just tried opening Ebay.ca and spybot opens a message saying
SpyBot-S&D reports that you want to download "doubleclick".
This is a known threat,do you want to BLOCK this download

yes no

clicking yes does nothing, clicking no opens the ebay page

Im using win2k, IE5

I tried ebay.ca with Firefox and with IE 6.0. No problems whatsoever. I'm also running w2k.
