I think most international students in Canada are E.I.'s.

My former university roommate's daughter (no she is not E.I.) is currently living in our self-contained coach house. Her father has offered to pay rent but we refuse to hear anything of the sort.

He's blaming the schools but his department is the one that sets the policies.

I gather 'significantly limiting visas for international students' is just
our government's way of saying 'limiting visas to international students
bringing a lot of money into Canada' . We welcome visa students who
can afford sky high rental rate in GTA. Even more desirable would be
students who have the spare money to buy a house or condo as well
as a Ferrari for daily commuting to school.
