AGT tells the public their prize is a million dollars they do not say it is amortized

They are amazingly cheap

They pay only one talent then give them less than half of what they are telling the world they are paying
while making billions of $ off said talent

Another example of how the greed of corporations has no bounds


The contract also binds the talent to a rapacious contract for life

Seems to me that the contestants are pretty greedy too - they're only on the show because they want fame and fortune. Besides, the winner probably stands to make a lot more in endorsements or recording contracts or whatever...

I agree the contestants only want fame and fortune

But AGT has got the money, guns and lawyers and I just find it amazing how they try to save a few hundred thousand dollars of the talents they have made billions off of


The talent shows uo for the audition after being lied to.

If they told the truth of the prize money and the rapacious contract they have to sign and how they will choose the contestants ( how do they choose the contestants? It is not based on talent as the majority are really quite bad) less would go and waste their time for a dream that is based on a lie
