Hi SVT,

Welcome to Ottawa. It doesn't look like the weather is going to cooperate for outside tourist activities this week. It’s still early in the tourist season. My favourite outdoor places are; the Rideau Canal; Parliament Buildings; Byward Market; the new Convention Centre might be interesting. Some museums include; http://nature.ca/; http://www.warmuseum.ca/splash.html; http://www.gallery.ca/; http://www.sciencetech.technomuses.ca/francais/index.cfm; http://www.civilisations.ca/splash.html. You can walk to all these places except The Science and Technology museum which on St. Laurent Blvd. The War Museum being just west, outside the downtown core. If you walk west on Queen Street (to the War Museum) you’ll pass Barbarella’s/Diamonds http://www.barbarellas.ca/barb_home.asp. You don’t say if you have a car. If not, buy a sheet of bus tickets and use http://www.octranspo1.com/splash if you are inclined not to take taxis.

Your tourist activities may be confined to indoors because it is forecast to rain until Friday. A crowd favourite is Alicia from Addictive http://www.ottawaatnight.com/ottawa-escort-female-independent-bella-escorts.php check with Phoebee from http://www.tempted2touch.net/ she will give you suggestions if you give her some criteria; Monique is a good bet, lots of good recommendations http://www.moniquematheson.com/. Maybe some of the other members can chime in with their suggestions as there are more favourites than just these few I've mentioned. Conversely, check http://www.cowboysdiary.info/wordpress/ for Bait & Switch and less than stellar operators.

I really don’t know about strip clubs, only their locations. The Bare Fax and Barbarella’s/Diamonds are closest to downtown, definitely within walking distance. The Playmate is not too far, but take a taxi, Vanier’s neighbourhood can rattle tourists. Pigale’s is in Gatineau and you’ll have to take a taxi. Tabboo is across the street from Pigale’s. And the NuDen is just off St. Laurent Blvd, near the Science Museum.

July is a better time to do the tourist thing in Ottawa; Blues Festival; outdoor patios; better weather. I hope you enjoy your stay in Ottawa.

Ottawa can be fun anytime, unfortunately CA is right and it is miserable this week.

Saying that, and that its a bit of an in between season, you're probably best to stick to Barefax. There are always a good selection of girls there, and if its not great you can go for a drink in any one of many places within walking distance. Empire grill is a nice steak place, there is a mexican place literally a 2 min walk (can't remember the name, pm me if you want i'll find it) and lots of good scenery.

Downtown is a little slower, but the pubs are always busy for the afterwork crowd, grab a beer and relax, enjoy the locals. Usually a friendly place to strike up a conversation.

I haven't had the opportunity yet but google jessica massage ottawa and you'll find a woman providing nuru massage (google that too if you must) who is in extremely high demand. I've tried to book and will at my first opportunity.

There is also a new hostess club that is supposed to be nice, although membership is 200, might be a bit much for an occasional visit to town.

Barbarella's, haven't been in a bit but went by last week and it seemed pretty dead, again I think barefax is likely a better bet this time of year depending what you're looking for. Pigale's is always fun, but a bit further again.

Enjoy! Ottawa is a great city any time of year. If you're serious about hobbying there is another board with a little more info on ottawa. Also, I know an agency that gets young, relative newcomers at a reasonable rate. again if you're interested pm me and i'll get you their info.

have fun!
