In how much time you can use 1 MB of Data?

I just wanted to know in how much time one can use 1 MB of Data while roaming in USA? as each 1 MB Data is charged @ $ 6 per MB By Bell Mobility, whereas Rogers Wireless charges $ 3 for 1 MB usage. i want to know the approximate time you can get for consuming 1 MB Data.

Depends what you're doing... With my iPhone, I get up to about 2 megs a second... So, I guess 1/2 a second to kill a meg, worst case.

That said, for general browsing (not streaming video) - usage is actually pretty low - I kill about 250-300 megs/mth of cell data (email/light web surfing/facebook/twitter).

At those rates, maybe you should investigate buying a US prepaid phone.

The TERB home page (https://terb.cc/index2.htm) is a total of 2661552 bytes (from http://www.aptest.com/webresources.html), which is roughly 2.5 megabytes.

Are you sure about those rates?
