the monitor is big but big is good and it should fit normally on a desk. unless your monitor hole is closed in but if you have a flat top open desk you're golden.

couldn't tell you about the computer. i use p.c half the price same quality.

Apple is having issues with their new iMacs because they are implementing a new welding technique and are/were having problems with it. So from what I last read, they were thinking that the iMacs will be in stores just before Christmas or after. It got a lot of Apple fans upset and their panties in a bunch over the whole thing. I haven't read up anything recent on it, so who knows what's going on with it. Just remember that this is a very revised (closed) ecosystem and it's had some hiccups along the way with the fabrication of it. So there MAY be some problems, be careful. Unless you can find a previous model being sold on Kijiji or somewhere else.

Being an iMac 27" user.. it is not that big, but all depending on what's your purpose of owning one.. It does fit on a regular desk and the new one will definitely be sexy on a desk :) should be in store by Christmas time
