Saw this on the weekend and had a great laugh over some of the award winners. These are bona-fide studies that have taken place and funded for different motives ( I cannot even imagine what some of them might be). As noted on the website "The winners have all done things that first make people LAUGH, then make them THINK."

My personal favorites have to be:

ThePhysics award to the Australians for "An Analysis of the Forces Required to Drag Sheep over Various Surfaces."

and

The Biology award to the Dutch authors "for documenting the first scientifically recorded case of homosexual necrophilia in the mallard duck."
