Considering how many people in Chinese government are hoping PP wins I am thinking it will be bad. I worked for an SOE in China for the last decade and a half … they hated Trudeau as they didn’t like his stance on China. They always said they missed the Harper Mulroney days when they could buy our resources freely.
Possibly in Canadian internal policie; but in Canadian foreign policies, the conservative government, even as it would want to, can not possibly be tighter aligned with USA than the current Liberal government.

Has exports of natural resources to China dropped since Trudeau
took over? As far as I can tell our export of coal, natural gas, oil and
minerals will only go upward.
Trudeau's Liberals are also willing to open up environmentally
fragile region for oil exploration to foreign investors with no
regard for climate change. Bay Du Nord is one such example.

In the U.S. there is a shift to the right by the right ( Republicans)….in Canada very astute political observers will argue, the liberals have moved further left, very far left from center, the Conservatives closer to center. Canada is slightly left of center and they ( politicians) want our votes. Anything too far right ( say abortion or heavy handed cuts to healthcare) is political suicide.Done, gone, cya, you are yesterdays news. One of the few trends we aren’t following the U.S. by a generation.

I honestly believe that most lefties on this board and in the public actually hate Trudeau and are embarrassed by him. However, they have to pretend to like him and would prefer a better leader in that party. i.e. the honeymoon and nostalgia has long been over.
So we have a contingent of people who are caught between hating their leader and having to vote for him because they know the NDP have zero chances so Liberals are their best bet.
It's time for change and almost a decade of incompetence will have them gone soon.
Change is good. We are overdue.
PP will hopefully get rid of the carbon tax and will stop printing money to reduce inflation. That would be a good start.
PP will make DoFo look clever.
Neither Ford or PP have or will violate the Canadian Charter of Rights...we should all be thankful for that.
Hopefully no more having to listen to an arrogant, smug, condescending, useless, lying, vomit inducing, petulant child of a PM. And restore Canada to be a respected and valued partner to our allies.
