If he was still around not many would bet against JJ if he was up against H. Clinton or Biden for nomination for leader in the Democratic party. Nor would there be any current republican contenders able to match him in name recognition.
I think John would have his own reality show & live the "good life" with his hand selected **********.
Small point but JFK was assassinated in 1963 and Trudeau was elected PM in 1968, so they did not lead their countries at the same time.

When Uncle Teddy asked John-John what he would do the first day he was President, he replied "Resign" lol.
I agree, he is the only confirmed case of a man nagged to death (waiting on his sister-in-law who was late from Wall Street) by delay that caused him to fly into weather he wasn't supposed to be in.
Not weather. He was delayed and so he flew in darkness and compounded this by short-cutting over a dark, unilluminated body of water on final approach to landing. He became disoriented and flew into the ground (or sea, I forget). There is a ? as to why he didn't fly on instruments when he lost visual w the ground. It seems a very basic rookie pilot error.
As I remember, the weather was clear. It was spatial disorientation during night flying that cause the plane to crash into the ocean.
The powers to be, got rid of them all, John-Bobby-and in the end John Jr. Coincidence? maybe.
I read, that Jacqueline, his mother, was against him entering the political forum. Maybe she knew something, we didn't.
Do you also realize that Bush senior was in charge of the CIA when JFK was assassinated.
