What a complete moron. Among his reasons why it’s okay is that you won’t go to jail, just get a citation

This is an ego thing all the way. Look how awesome I am I can control something.

Leashes are for the protection of your own dog. I don’t care how well your dog is trained, if another dog or animal of some types comes after your dog, it is not staying and heeling. It is taking off and you have lost your dog.

Instead, as has happened to me with plenty of dog attacks, I have control over my animals and can get between the attacking dog and my dogs and keep them apart. Harnesses help better than collars as well.

If you care about your dog, you leash. If you only care about you and how “awesome” you look with your dog off leash - you only care about yourself.

I agree 100 percent. I did allow my dog to be leach free on trails. I live out of the city in a remote area so taking him off leach for a while wasn't an issue.

I had so many bad experiences with off leash dogs. My girl as she got older was pretty cranky! She wanted nothing to do with young dogs and would tell them as they approached while the owner was yelling "my dog is friendly" I am yelling back MINE IS NOT!

We take care of a friends very small (under 20 pounds) dog now when they go on vacation, this poor little guy is scared of everything. One early morning close to but not inside an off leash area two dogs came running towards him I had to pick him up he was so scared. The owner thought nothing of it and was telling me everything was fine. It is not this guy was shaking and terrified.

On Sunday I was walking in the same area alone (no dog) and an off leash dog came running towards me, I was not scared I really didn't care UNTIL he put a hole in my pants biting at me! NO REACTION from owner, an I'm sorry he has never done that but no offer of can I replace your pants!

There are areas to take these dogs off leash use them please!

We all have egos, I mean, people buy name brands like Hermes, Balenciaga, YSL, Supreme (a few years ago, literally just for that name plastered in big letters), Dior, Gucci, Prada, etc.. expensive Jordans, etc.
That name brand advertising is all to tell others "look what I can afford (probably not in most cases lol) and satiate some insecurity in most cases.

I can understand that guy walking his dog off leash and there's also a huge risk on his part if something does happen, he's screwed, no doubt he knows it too.

Stinky with the happy video again lol
Can't stomach that one but neither of those idiots should own dogs. But simple minds are easily amused, look at the girl in the background smiling like it's entertaining.
This is what happens when you're poor and have nothing better to do, get some dogs, slap on some red (expensive wanna be rich) styled shoes and go out with a dog that weighs more than you.
Both are fucking morons and so is the crowd.

The pit bull would have released his grip immediately if his balls had been squeezed.
I understand you should stick a finger up their butt.

I knew right away he is in Law Enforcement in the first sentence. That arrogance and feeling above the law is why cops need to get humbled properly. 100% bully demeanaor and speech. He acts like he has gotten away with crimes due to his badge. 'Domestic assault? Heres my badge'. Road rage assault? 'I know the chief of police'.
