I attended grammar school with some of the Kramer sisters, in the York Mills area back when I was a kid in the 70's and early 80's.
I think her sister Sally was in a few of my classes. From what I remember these were nice girls. Not scam hounds, not seedy, they were from a good home, not in the popular crowd, they hung out in the braniac crowd most likely.

They were well behaved, never got in trouble, never caused trouble, never bullied anyone, would never schemed or cheated on a test, yet at the same time nothing glamorous about them either. I never asked any of them out on a date, because I think back then I liked the wild and crazy gals.

There is probably someone one else behind this because Sara Kramer just doesnt have it in her character to be shady or even money hungry. Doesnt make sense to me if you knew her.

I wonder if she's single?

Just because she is from the "York Mills Area" does not mean she is greedy and scheming, now why would it. There must have been someone else behind it, no doubt, that advised her on how to get her little hands on all that money.

IMHO the only good that came out of this whole e-health fiasco is the power of the media. If it wasn't for the cbc and the toronto star then Kramer might have paid herself another $150000 bonus by now:rolleyes: .

I'm glad that Kramer was fired. IMHO she had a definite sense of entitlement that's for sure. I also think that Dr. Hudson should have been forced to resign from his e-health duties as well.

Hudson and Caplan need to be fired. Voters need to remember this as it is ultimately McSquint's responsibility for not putting Caplan on the back bench where he belongs.

What pisses me off more than anything is the untendered consulting contracts in the millions of dollars to Liberal supporters.

Hold on, you base your opinion of a grown woman as being honest because 30 years ago she was a nice girl in grammar school.

People do change you know.

Just to add a little levity to the situation. Doesn't David Caplan look a little chunky to be the minister of health:D ?

Not sure why everyone is pointing the finger at her. She was given the money/contract and the power by her boss. I'd take the same thing if I was qualified and offered.

Would anyone here say, "no please I don't want the money"?

Still IMHO if Kramer would have played her cards right she would still have been the ceo of e-health today and earning good money for performing this duty.

Nobody forced Kramer to be so greedy. As a ceo shouldn't she have taken some fiscal responsibility in the first place? It's just common sense.

Kramer is obviously not a stupid woman. I wonder who's going to hire her now? Maybe the tetley tea company---lol!

My take on this whole mess....

I would like to follow around for a couple , two or three days one of these so called consultants that are being paid $2,700./day just to see exactly what it is they do to earn such compensation.

And then to charge a coffee or tea etc on your expense account while being paid such an exorbitant amount, to me is just plain stupid not to think it may come back on them. Not to mention how greedy and cheap it is. These so called consultants are not very smart are they?

I wonder if people who work at Tetley Tea get coffee breaks?

Can the excs expense them?

TO - aka The Big Smoke
No more $1,000/hr to scratch her ass. Poor Kramer

She clearly knew she was a fraud going in and didn't have the chops to keep up with the demands of the position. Her reference on her job application was a personal friend, William Faulk.

So she knew she had to claw and grab and line her pockets with whatever she could get before she was inevitibly discovered.

Now EHealth's progress andprograms like Cancer-Care Ontario will suffer. The board and ministry will be looking over its shoulder with every move they try to make.

I don't know how the contract negotiations were conducted but maybe she wouldn't take the job unless she got all those perks...

I think most people will take a job (or change jobs) that pays the same or more than their previous job unless they have no choice. If she has lots of money in the bank, she can pick and choose what job to take.

I'll admit I have not read all the entire story on this whole ehealth thing yet, so any comments I make are based on my personal knowledge of Sara Kramer character, and nothing more.

[Yep...I well read it and come back and comment at a later date].

I cannot see Sara Kramer being shady, she was just to much of a goody goody two shoe type. She was a girl who would never make a mistake, straight A's all through school, the highest marks in math throughout Ontario, even beating out some of the Chinese students.

Maybe she got greedy, or her head got too big. To be honest, she should be reprimanded but not fired.

Nobody well be able to take her place on such short notice, she is too smart, the whole system is going to fall faster then Leaman brothers, LOL

Someone well have to hire two or three people to do her work so it will still end up costing more. She is too smart.
She can be replaced, but not right away.
