That's right... I FINALLY got to meet Felicia!!
Seriously, I've been hoping to meet her since I first started visiting Barrie and hearing and reading all the wonderful things all you Terbites had to say! I know I have said many times that I would really like to give her a hug and let her know that I have a lot of respect for her. In my time in the industry I have met a lot of other girls- agency, indy, mpa, dancers. In the past, I can think of many occassions where I walked right up to another SP (at an industry party, of course... not in public) and shook her hand or gave her a hug. Unfortunately, Barrie doesn't hold meet and greets so this isn't possible. I've been debating ways of meeting Felicia for some time now...I just couldn't build up the nerve to do it! Somewhere in my 5 year retirement I became a little shy. Well...I must have won the lottery on this one because right in the middle of my dilemma, who should send me a message? That's right! Felicia- just who I was hoping to hear from. We exchanged messages and decided we certainly had to meet...that very night.
When I opened the door, I couldn't believe how gorgeous she is! My second thought was somewhere along the lines of "WOW, she's tall!" She came in and opened her arms for a hug...I'm a sucker for hugs so I jumped right in. She has this engaging, warm smile that put all of my anxiety to rest. Soon enough I felt like I was chatting with an old friend. We talked for over an hour but sadly the time was too short. I love meeting girls in this industry that enjoy it and strive to provide excellent service and professionalism. I can't name a thing about her I wasn't absolutely smitten with. I feel confident that we really hit it off. In fact so much so, that we had a discussion about duos:wink:
