The other day I was downtown at a friends condo and I over heard this conversation, which still makes me smile and say dame!
I was at a friends condo building waiting for the elevator, when up walks two drop dead gorgeous blond ladies. I guess seeing that I was asian and I would probably not understand french, they continued their conversation!
First lady: How long have you been in TO.
Second: Two months
First: Is the money good:
Second: Not bad, I can charge a little more then in Montreal, so not bad.
First: Do you still dance?
Second: No, I stoped last summer and I'm just doing escorting now, a bit more money, better hours!
Now my ears perked up and I tried not to smile, or make them aware I understood what they were saying.
Second: Do you dance?
First: No never danced, just escorting!
The elevator arrived and we walk in, I said Hi in english and how cold it was, both answered yes!
First:Yea, never danced, always work for Johnny, do you work out of Johnny's condo?
Second: Yea, I guess you will too, you are young, you will make good money!
The elevator got to my floor, I turned to the girls, smiled and said sorry girls, but I understand french. They both were shocked, staired at me and then started to laugh. One asked if I enjoyed the conversation and laughed some more, I said yes and good night, then walked out!
But as I write this I'm still smiling, but I'm saying DAME, I should have asked for their phone number, dumb! dumb! dumb!
