you are on the right track in thinking about a home business...if you want help, you will need to be more specific in giving some details on your plans....be very cautious in dealing with distributors selling yousshotrr said:

I found the write-off to be quite low. It's the drive in that I like.
If you have an idea for a small business to operate then give it a go. If not, you will end up costing yourself in the long run. The CRA does not care for people who open up a small business with $100 of revenue and $10,000 of expenses aimed at applying a loss against employed earnings. If it was that easy then everyone would be doing it.

Small biz center run by City of Toronto has lots of free info and clinics. Their offices are City hall and North York civic center.
