You can watch it on YouTube. It's actually very interesting.it's nothing spectacular, just a bright star low in southwest at twilight, not as good as Venus, next occultation will be in year 7528
I've seen Jupiter and Saturn many times from my window.it's nothing spectacular, just a bright star low in southwest at twilight, not as good as Venus, next occultation will be in year 7528
They don't completely hide each other so it looks like a new star.I've seen Jupiter and Saturn many times from my window.
Saturn is a small orange looking dot, while Jupiter looks like a bright star.
Saturn is farther then Jupiter, so if they meet Saturn would be completely hidden and Jupiter would look about the same.
Pretty boring, I guess.
Overcast here, nothing to see, move along.
May I politely ask who that comment was directed toward?( In case your confused, or dumb ... which is more likely in your case, Saturn is the ringed planet in the lower right )
Everyone.May I politely ask who that comment was directed toward?
There was nothing to see here due to the clouds so no use getting my scope out but I expected with all the hopplah they'd be closer than that.
