Driving along had a smoke and threw it out the window. Kept my arm hanging out, feeling the warm wind and BOOM, a bird flew right into my hand.................holy shit I killed it:eek: I can't believe I just did that

It's not bad now, it is bruised a little, luckily he was not flying straight at my palm.

Oh... I ride with my mouth closed!

As for lube, I'd be lying if I said we didn't use it... cuz we do, but only for "greek" encounters!!

Aside from that, Mrs. Cycleguy produces MORE than enough natural lubrication!

Sorry you killed the bird, but as a cyclist I ask you to please refrain from throwing your smokes out the window. Got a good burn when one of those bounced up and dropped into my shoe as I was peddling along.

Ang and Vanessa, I believe it is the unintentionality of it.

For me at least when you go out hunting/gunning you do so with a purpose. But when you hit something (or wack it with a golf ball) it is unintentional and it is that very “I did not mean to” lack of intent that troubles and gives a sense of guilt.
