I didn't see the point in starting a retirement thread. But then people don't read on this board {shockingly enough} so I did start a combination thread of how I can be reached and for what purpose and that I am fully retired. Seems a mod didn't like it and I like to follow the rules, so I didn't restart one.
Since you have directly asked, yes I am fully retired and happy in my retirement with no intension of coming back. I use to retire for the most part but always had a select few regulars I would see, and I am saying goodbye to that as well. I am completely off the market.
I would prefer direct contact only to my email account listed in my profile. General contact only, friends I have made. Personal comments regarding posts I may have made, but no requests to come out of retirement, and I don't want to sound rude because I am flattered by them and I do miss spending time with most of my old clients, however I will not go for drinks, or dinner or coffee for old time sake either. I would apprecaite not being asked. I am not offended by those who have already made these offers. It just puts me on the spot to say no and I don't like rejecting people personally. Please don't make me do it. Now that I am able, I am currently appreciating one man in my life.
I am not leaving TERB, and will still post and be the same bitchy pain the ass I am always am. I am definitately not out of the loop of the Durham scene, so I will always remain the Queen Goddess of Durham, just to clear that up.
So on that note, I am not saying good-bye, just simply retired from this aspect of the industry.
