Not as bad as you think. I don't have an SO but I do have a female friend who is also unattached and we spend some time together. It's mostly a platonic relationship but we have had sex a few times.

Anyway, I came home from an early afternoon SP visit a while ago to find that my friend was over watching my girls in the pool and they had taken some food out for a BBQ. I saw them in the backyard but didn't bother going out to say hi. I just started getting the dinner ready.

Cut to the chase... my friend comes in the house and sees me making dinner. She's happily surprised to see me and gives me a hug. Suddenly she pulls back a bit and looks at me.

"Have you been with another woman?", she asks.

So there I stand completely confused because
1) I have no idea what made her ask
2) I didn't think she would really care
3) I'm not sure what the right answer is

I decide to lie and say no.

"Hmm, you smell like coconuts", she says, looking at me curiously.

Holy shit, I remember the shampoo at the SPs having a fairly strong cocnut smell. My daughter decides to get in the game and comes over and smells me. Now I'm really fucked, I think.

"I don't smell anything", she says.

Well, my friend was nice enough to not push the issue and I spent a good half an hour trying to stay a safe distance away until I could get the BBQ going and get some smoke smell on me. Then I jumped in for a quick swim so I could rinse off and have an excuse to change my clothes.

So, a reminder to all you cheating bastards and to the SPs, try to make sure you use a non-scented shampoo.

Thats why I shower at home before the morning, wash my hair with my shampoo. At the appointment I always freshen up with a shower using their soap but don't use shampoo. To mask the scent of the soap, some well placed dabs of after shave and its covered. :cool:

I have a gym at the office that I use 3 times a week that I have seperate toiletries for than what I use at home...... so I always smell different.

Now you have to explain why you are carrying shampoo around with you. Unless you have the gym excuse or something similar this is just as bad, and if you do have that excuse, then you can say it's the soap/shampoo you keep at the gym and you don't need to carry.

Much appreciated if SP's would stock up on unscented soap in addition to whatever else you prefer.

I was at an MP once, and after she started rubbing oil on me, she tells me the shower is broken. I had showered before the MP, as it was an am massage, but still, I smelled of oil.

NO I shower at the MP before and after, and at the SP too if they have it.

I always have another bottle of the same cologne in my car and puff up before getting home. One time she asked why I puffed up, it was a crazy day at the office, I had to run around for a bit and started sweating so I added a few puffs during the day to mask the sweat. This trick works during the summer months, have not figured out what to do in the winter time.

I get the same thing from my cat all the time, she suspects that I have been with another cat. She is always right. Just deny it and she will sulk for a while, then prepare her favorite meal and she will soon forget about it and forgive you. It works for me all the time with cats and women.:D

Hm, I make it a point to keep a variety of mens body wash and deoderant as well as simple Dove soap on hand just in case. It is cute how often a man will be surprised and delighted that I have his brand in my bathroom lol. I am thinking of hiring a blind old man to hold a towel and cologne spritz just to give it a real classy feel ;)

if all else fails though, a few shots of febreeze should do the trick

No, actually. Maybe it was a bodywash, I don't really know. It was the only bottle of "cleansing stuff" I saw.

I will sometimes stop at the gym for a shower if it's convenient. I just didn't think there was any need for me to think about this stuff.

I don't think so. Her visit was just as a friend helping out the kids. I'm not sure how the relationship will evolve from here though.
