how other agencies would react if someone reversed your name and is getting away with it?

My name has been established for over 7 years.

In mine and several others' opinions it isn't fair.

I am not going to change my name.

I also seen that new agency name and wondered if it was your organization.

Amber your absolutely right it is morally wrong for them to use such a similar name. You just know they are trying to use confusion with your good name to their advantage.

Legally they are probably safe because it is technically different. I'm sure the members here will evaluate them based on the girls and service so they still have to deliver.

Your agency shouldn't suffer either way though.

But giving this new agency the benefit of the doubt, have you tried contacting them and letting them know that there is already an established agency in Toronto with a very similar name, and asking them politely to come up with a different name for their agency? If I remember well, something similar happened a few years ago with another new ( and now well-established) agency and they changed their original name for something different.

Dream-makers was Vixens at first and after it was posted here, the name was changed by Peter after a contest. It worked out for both Steph and Peter. However, there was no intent by Peter to copy Vixens. I don't know about this new agency, but as Gen suggested, I would contact them and see if they would change the name. Sell you the domain name even.

You never know until you try.

I am sure many here would be very supportive to you and it would be in the other agencies best interest to come up with some original.

Yes, it's the work of the ladies that make their success and the success of the agency they are associated with. But in this business, reputation goes a long way, and most of us work quite hard at building our reputation and image.

So, if someone else comes up with a very similar name to an already established agency (or independent), it's very possible (as already confirmed by one poster in this thread) that some people may confuse the two different agencies for the same one, assuming that they are booking a girl from the well-established agency rather than the newest one.

I think there was an agency called Toronto Girlfriends a few years ago. It was short lived but I'm sure alot of people are happy to have met Zanna.

When you google Toronto Girlfriends, Toronto Asian Girlfriends (TAG) comes up first.

I agree with the others, try talking to them. They probably would prefer a distinct name as well.
