Anyone ever heard or read this gem from Donald Rumsfeld:

"As we know, there are known knowns. There are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns. That is to say, we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns, the ones we don't know we don't know. "

Absolutely priceless.

This is one of my favourite quotes from an eloquent master of the English language, the Rt. Hon. Jean Chrétien when discussing what proof of WMD would be necessary to justify attacking Iraq.

"A proof is a proof. What kind of a proof? It's a proof. A proof is a proof. And when you have a good proof, it's because it's proven."

... is just so eloquent. ( He can't even plant WMD or hush up the doctoring of security info. The puppet masters obviously believe he represents "average" America. I guess that they are RIGHT! ) Some further quotes:

"Our priorities is our faith."

"I think if you know what you believe, it makes it a lot easier to
answer questions. I can't answer your question."

"One of the common denominators I have found is that expectations rise above that which is expected."

"I will have a foreign-handed foreign policy."

... I've been talking to Vicente Fox, the new president of Mexico... I know him... to have gas and oil sent to U.S.... so we'll not depend on foreign oil...

"I think we ought to raise the age at which juveniles can have a
gun."

"I mean, there needs to be a wholesale effort against racial
profiling, which is illiterate children."

"I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully."

"I regret that a private comment I made to the vice presidential candidate made it through the public airways." RE: the A$$hole comment he made.

"I think all foreigners should stop interfering in the internal affairs of Iraq," said U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz.

From yesterday's Washington Post:

This is part of the brain-trust running the U.S.!
I'm as anti current Iraq policy as anyone, but in all fairness concerning this quote.....he went on to say that all foreigners should stop interfering unless they are willing to help the situation. As opposed to what they claim Iran and Syria are trying to do in sabotaging the situation.

Here's a good one though, from Ari Fleisher. "I think the burden is on those who claimed Saddam didn't have weapons of mass destruction to tell the world where they are." Priceless.
