People in that area are very resilient. I was in Pensacola for Andrew back in the 90s(I was working there at the time), and I expected a long layover, a shift to Orlando or even return to Canada due to the disruptions. None of it happened, we were back at it the next day running pumps, removing debris and continuing on. When you live in the hurricane ally, you simply adapt. The funniest thing was, when I voiced my concerns to the super, he said: you guys up there in Canada don't stop for a snow storm, do ya? You push snow aside and get on with it. Same here. Don't pay any attention to the assholes on TV and be ready with the crew, tomorrow. LOL!
