Huge DownTown core Power Outage

I was at Yonge and Dundas when it occurred,

Yeah, power went out in my building. Was working earlier. Even texted an agency to find out what was going on. Now, getting my news on Terb. Life is funny .

Outage caused by a barge with crane that hit hydro wires in the portlands area.

From the pics I saw, it looked like the crane was up and the barge was being moved. I don’t get why they would be moving it with the crane up. Isn’t that like having the bed of a dump truck raised going under a bridge?
