Ha ha ha...regardless, for me as a non player and not really a fan of golf, he's the only golfer who can make me tune in to watch at least the last five or six holes of a tourney on Sunday if he's in contention.

I'm sure the PGA and I think it's CBS are praying for a hole by hole battle on Sunday.

He picked a good tournament to come back, from a media perspective anyway. Security is usually very tight at Augusta, and the press didn't exactly press him too much. Folks like those from TMZ weren't allowed anywhere near. Plus he can go to the private facilities set aside for past Masters Champions and not deal with the riff raff. Also I think he'll get a fairly good fan reaction, maybe not overwhelming, but positive. I think he'll finish in the top ten but not really be able to make a run at winning it.

Finally I get to watch some exciting golf, man was it boring without Tiger. I love it, love the drama, and what's most important, every other golfer's game has ratched up several notches since Tiger got back. Tiger brings the best out of everybody and golf is exciting to watch again. Hope he wins it all.

Not today he isn't. :)
You don't judge a golfer if he is the best by one day of golf, it's over an extended period of time, consistency is what makes a golfer the best, and Tiger is the best, period, the facts speak for themselves. There's a reason why he's #1 in the world rankings.

I don't normally watch golf because it is kind of boring, although the game is simple to understand. Due to the Tiger fuss, I am watching the last 9 holes to-day.

As I thought Tiger finishes in the top ten but didn't really contend on Sunday, finishing five strokes back. Good win for Phil, who is practically the opposite of Tiger as far as a family man.

Give me a break. Tiger was within three shots at the turn and in the second final group, and yet somehow not in contention.

But what should we expect from people who are naive enough to buy into the FIGJAM image.

He didn't make any real move on the back nine and by his own admission didn't play good enough. No, I think it was pretty clear after 11 there was almost no way he was going to win. The back nine on Sunday at Augusta is where you do it or lose, and Tiger didn't come close.
