I've got a 2-year old, 20 GB Ipod. I pretty much filled it when I bought it but I'm wondering if people have any advice on how to make the most of it. Most of my songs are from my cds but a small percentage have been downloaded off the net.

One of the problems with d/l songs is that often the title has both the song name and the band and possibly even the track number, all of which can make finding the song on my Ipod difficult.

I'm thinking about wiping my Ipod and starting fresh. Any tips or tricks people have would be great.

your mp3 files are not tagged properly resulting in confusion.

get a mp3 tagger and retag your files. It's easy and makes finding songs easy.

You can edit the tag right in I-tunes...I think you just right click on the song, select edit, and type in the info.......

Also go to the RCA web site and download thier MP3Pro converter. You can convert regular MP3 files to MP3Pro (64bit) and double your capacity and not lose any fidelity.

You may notice a difference. I can tell the difference between my MP3s and MP3 Pro. However, if you listen to 128kb mp3 you probably won't notice any difference.
